Postdoctoral Fellowship

Applications
are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in APPLIED
PROBABILITY/DISCRETE MATHEMATICS in the Mathematical Sciences Group
at the University of Saskatchewan. This position is available for a
one-year term beginning September 1, 2004. The successful applicant
is responsible for teaching one 3 credit unit course per term in the
Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Preference will be given to
candidates with a proven interest in modelling of biological,
chemical or physical systems and an ability to work with members of
the group and specifically Chris Soteros

Knowledge of Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods, statistical mechanics,
lattice models of polymers, or enumerative combinatorics will be
considered an asset. The annual salary offered for this position is
$35,000 Canadian dollars.
