Mathematics Readiness Course at the University of Saskatchewan

We have developed a Mathematics Readiness Course (MRC) intended for students entering any introductory mathematics course at a university. This program was initiated by Professor Keith Taylor of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Saskatchewan.

We have in-person versions of this course as well as an Internet (web-based) version.

Exercises in Math Readiness Website (EMR)

Some of the exercises which were developed for the Math Readiness course have been collected at the website Exercises in Math Readiness. The website also contains brief discussions of some of the topics covered in Math Readiness.

This site could be useful for high school math teachers or their students, or anyone who is reviewing topics from high school mathematics.

Personal Notes, Favorite Links, etc. I am interested in how people learn mathematics, especially at the senior high school and university levels. I am also a figure skating fan.

Here are some of my favourite links: Sandra Loosemore's Skateweb | comics page | Saskatchewan Education's home page | The Canadian Centre for Wolf Research
