Afterthoughts

I occasionally blog here about bits of maths-related flotsam, or inane "commentary" by bien-pensant op-ed writers, that have floated by and caught my attention. It's not updated as frequently as it should be, though.

Here are a couple of old pictures: the first is me hard at work (I'm on the left in the foreground) and the second is me having fun in Bordeaux. (Thanks to Matt Daws for the second photo).

Some infrequently updated personal ramblings and links, largely of interest only to me I suspect.
Disclaimer: these comprise my own personal views and do not necessarily represent the opinions of the Department of Mathematics & Statistics, the University of Saskatchewan, or indeed anyone else.

Mrs Brown bent down. "You're a very small bear," she said.
The bear puffed out its chest. "I'm a very rare sort of bear," he replied, importantly. "There aren't many of us left where I come from."
