Abstract: Individuals infected with HIV are at risk for AIDS and subsequent death. Treatments for HIV have evolved from a period of no available therapy (prior to 1987) to combinations of three or more drugs (after 1995), It is very im- portant to work out the better prognosis treatment. This project provides a comparison between two treatment on a clinical trial of HIV. It includes the methods and materials to analyze the HIV data and give three approaches to build the models. i.e., Non parametric estimate, Cox proportional haz- ard model and parametric model.
