(3) Find the reference angle for the given angle.

 (a) -230o

 (b) 750o
SOLUTION: 

 (a) -230o + 360o = 130o

     Since this is still greater than 90 we can say:

     180o - 130o = 50o

     The reference angle  for -230o is 50o

 (b) 750o - 2(360o) = 750o - 720o = 30o

     The reference angle for 750o is 30o.
