(5) Given a cylinder, closed at one end, with radius 10 cm and height h cm. The volume of the cylinder is 1.5 L. Find the surface area of the cylinder.

Let H = Height of the cylinder
    r = radius of cylinder = 10
    A = surface area = 2rH + r2
    V = Volume of the Cylinder = 1500
      = r2H
      = 100H

    100H = 1500
        H = 15/

    A = 2(10)(15/) + 100
      = 300 + 100

The surface area of the cylinder is 300 + 100cm2
