1. Find the quantity: |(1 + i)(2 + i)|
= |2 + 3i + i²|
= |2 + 3i - 1|
= |1 + 3i|
= |(1,3)|
= (1² + 3²)^1/2
= 10^1/2

2. Find arg (1 - i)
= arctan (-1 / 1)
= arctan (-1)
= -p/4

3. Represent -3^1/2 - i in polar form.
r = |z| = |-3^1/2 - i| = 2

q = arctan y/x = arctan (-1) / (-3^1/2) = 7p / 6
-3^1/2 - i = 2 cos (7p / 6) + i2 sin (7p / 6)
